Charlie is CEO of SOILCO and has been with the company since 2001, guiding the businesses evolution from a regional New South Wales-based operation to a national leader in organics recycling. Under his leadership, SOILCO has expanded its footprint and impact, delivering sustainable waste management solutions to communities across Australia.
With over 25 years of experience in the environmental sector, Charlie is deeply committed to advancing circular economy principles. A key aspect of his role is strategic planning and the execution of long-term initiatives that align with SOILCO’s mission to give life to soil.
Charlie holds a degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Technology Sydney and began his career working across environmental, landscaping, and horticultural industries. This practical foundation has informed his systems-based approach to environmental stewardship and innovation.
In addition to his role at SOILCO, Charlie has been a Director of the Australian Organics Recycling Association (AORA) for over five years and currently serves as National Chair. Through AORA, he advocates for industry collaboration, policy development, and the promotion of best practices in organics recycling nationwide.
