Chloë Bird

Chloë is the Branch Head for Supply Chain Initiatives in the Circular Economy Division of the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
The Circular Economy Division delivers programs and develops policies that support the Australian Government’s agenda to transition to a more circular economy by 2030.
Chloë has worked with the department since 2021, focusing on circularity and waste policy, regulation and programs.
Prior to this she held a range of senior roles in the Commonwealth government, leading work on policy and programs relating to First Nations, economic development, immigration and tourism.
Chloë holds a Masters of Government and Commercial Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Asian Studies.
