David is a passionate advocate for sustainability initiatives with a strong interest in the circular economy, sharing platforms, product life extension through repair and reuse, as well as building strong, connected and resilient communities.
David founded the Gold Coast Tool Library in his home city in early 2021 and is the Convenor of the Australian Library of Things Network. The ALoT Network was formed by those driving Tool Libraries and Libraries of Things around the country as a peak body to support existing LoTs in their collective operations, as well as to encourage and support community groups and LGA’s looking to start a LoT in their community.
