Esther Landells

Coming from a teaching background and with over 15 years in local government waste services, Esther understands the intricacies of introducing change at community and organisational levels. With the implementation of many engagement programs behind her, Esther’s awareness of the challenges facing waste avoidance and resource circularity, including sustainable procurement, keeps her focused on what is constructively, and realistically, achievable.
Now, as Senior Policy Officer (Waste) for LGNSW, and as a PhD candidate focused on local government FOGO implementations, Esther continues to apply her knowledge and energy into embedding circularity in resource recovery and improved waste management.
