Margaret Jewell

Dr Margaret Jewell is an Agricultural Scientist with a career spanning food supply chain sustainability, agricultural consulting, and R&D investment. She currently leads WRAP’s Food Programme in the Asia–Pacific region, working to reduce food waste and improve resource efficiency. Margaret also serves on the Boards of Ag Institute Australia and Seafood Industry Australia, and contributes to the UN FAO’s Technical Advisory Group on Circular Bioeconomy. Her work focuses on practical, science-based solutions that support sustainable, low-emission food systems.
