His career began in his studied field of Mechanical Engineering which laid a strong foundation and subsequent move to Veolia Australia, where he dedicated over ten years to various roles, ultimately leading to his position as General Manager of the Victorian Resource Recovery division. In this role, Steven led the Resource Recovery team, driving growth and expansion while ensuring stringent safety and regulatory compliance. His tenure at Veolia exposed him to a broad spectrum of waste and materials processing, and he made substantial contributions to the industry through participation in various industry associations and working groups. Notably, he served as a Director of the Australian Organics Recycling Association for three years.
Currently, Steven is the General Manager of Recycling at Lithium Australia, where he focuses on revolutionizing the battery recycling industry.
