Zoltan is a Waste Management and Resource Recovery specialist with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He leads the Product Stewardship and Battery Recycling Technology portfolios at Ecocycle and Ecobatt. With a focus on e-waste and battery stewardship programs, Zoltan specialises in battery safety protocols, recycling methodologies, consumer and industry awareness and Product Lifecycle regulations. He advocates for industry partnerships and lobbies Industry Associations and Governments nationwide to enhance Product Stewardship and Extended Producer Responsibility frameworks. His goal is to improve consumer and industry safety, recovery rates and maximise reuse of critical metals from Batteries and other secondary resources from relevant problematic waste streams to elevate Australia’s circular economy capabilities.
